Namesco has become the UK's first ISP to launch a no strings attached free broadband offer. The offer is aimed at dialup users and light home users who are looking for an affordable way to experience broadband without the tie in of having to use associated phone services.
The HomeStart package offers a 512Kb connection and 2GB of monthly downloads, plus a Free ZyXEL router, email address and full UK based telephone support 7 days a week. There is a £60 fee to connect to the service and no monthly subscription for the first 12 months - after 12 months the service is charged at just £10.95 per month!
The special offer will run in August and coincides with the launch of an entire new BroadbandMax product range. The new top of the range HomeMax+ package will offer an up to 8Mbps connection plus 60GB of peak time downloads for just £24.95 per month.
Namesco's BroadbandMax products will be exclusively supplied with ZyXEL routers in place of the traditional USB modem. The single port router will included with all packages and HomeMax+ customers will be able to upgrade to a 4 port Wireless router and PC card for just £37.50+VAT.
By supplying routers as standard, Namesco hopes to eliminate many compatibility and configuration issues that users commonly experience with USB devices, placing the emphasis firmly on service quality and user experience over cost savings.
